Welcome to Shri Multan Sewa Samiti
Origin of Shri Multan Sewa Samiti dates back to 1909 when Malik Chetan Das and his associates decided to set up the institute for the service of mankind, in particular to serve those affected with the plague epidemic in Multan.
The Samiti was formally registered in 1921 with Dr. Purshotam Lal as President and Shri Bhagwan Das Jasuja as General Secretary.
That year also Multan was affected by plague and the Samiti Volunteers served those affected by the epidemic. Mahatma Gandhi visited the camps organized by the Samiti for the service of epidemic victims and appreciated the services of the Samitee.
